I went online for a 3rd session, this one in the evening. I ended up breaking about even for the night, but I made some very bad calls which cost me some chips.

I played two tables at a time again.

I left the table with $812, just about breaking even for the evening session. It was fun to play so much in one day. I'll have to make this a weekly thing. The day ended up about $500.

Eurolinx Thursday, part 2

About an hour passed, and I decided to give it another go.

I sat at a 2/4 6-handed table with $400. Things started off slowly, I rebought twice to get back to $400. So my buy-in for this table is $500.

About an hour and a half in, I'm at about $490 when I got stubborn with a small pair, and lost a medium-sized pot:

After two and a half hours, I left the table with $366 - down $144 for that table... but the really good action was going on at the same time at another table. While I was playing on the above table, I bought in for my last $260 on the "Nothing in common" table.

In Myst's blog today, he mentionned four bad players that were easy pickings... and one of them was named gubbe04. It just happened that he was at this table...

I finally left the table withe $1297.30. A profit of over $1000 on this table, ending the afternoon up about $575.

Eurolinx Thursday

I haven't played any poker to speak of in over 3 weeks. So I had a free afternoon on Thursday, and I signed onto Eurolinx. Playing two tables, 2/4 no limit, buying in with $250.

First table, I got involved in just a few hands, I'm up to about $280 when this one comes up. I know this player is very agressive, and he raises a lot. For some reason I thought I had the best hand, and it wasn't the case. His big bet on the flop looked like a continuation bet, so I called and the rest is history.

I don't think I can be faulted for the way I played that hand, the guy called a big raise on the flop with 2nd pair, and caught one of his five out for two pairs on the turn.

I was getting busy with customers calling, so I decided to quit then and there, down $60 at this table, but down $310 for the session. And all of this in a span of about 25 minutes.

Rainy Sunday afternoon

With the rain falling on Sunday, the 2nd round of the club championship was cancelled at Outaouais golf club. So I decided to play a little 2/4 NL on Eurolinx.

I wish it would have been sunny!

I overplayed top pair a few times, and got all my money in pre-flop with KK against AK only to lose it. I'll explain later how it happened, but I had called down a big bet from this player, and I knew he wasn't happy about it. But the gods of poker gave him an Ace on the turn and I lost a huge pot.

So the lucky bastard catches one of his three outs. I started the table with $250, and I walked away with $230, so I only lost $20 at this table. But it felt like I lost a lot more... The session ended with me losing about $800 because of the overplaying the top pairs on the other table.
