Eurolinx Thursday, part 2

About an hour passed, and I decided to give it another go.

I sat at a 2/4 6-handed table with $400. Things started off slowly, I rebought twice to get back to $400. So my buy-in for this table is $500.

About an hour and a half in, I'm at about $490 when I got stubborn with a small pair, and lost a medium-sized pot:

I got back up to close to $400, and then I got into this hand. The other player got sneaky with AA, and it paid off for him. I didn't see it coming at all:

After two and a half hours, I left the table with $366 - down $144 for that table... but the really good action was going on at the same time at another table. While I was playing on the above table, I bought in for my last $260 on the "Nothing in common" table.

In Myst's blog today, he mentionned four bad players that were easy pickings... and one of them was named gubbe04. It just happened that he was at this table...

I was down to $190, and then some good hands came my way:

This is a hand that got me so pissed, that I called a raise the very next hand with J4, and got really lucky. Here's the one where he draws out. I flopped top two pairs, and he got runner runner straight when I checked the flop.

Another big hand against the same player.... I had a feeling my 2nd pair on the flop was good, and was making a continuation bet. I then caught a straight and he paid me off. Turns out I was right, he had A6.

I finally left the table withe $1297.30. A profit of over $1000 on this table, ending the afternoon up about $575.
